Creation and maintenance of green spaces in the municipality of Castanhal
Through its faculty, PPGEAA participates in a research project that aims to analyze leisure and environmental policies, regarding the planning of actions for the creation and maintenance of green spaces and leisure equipment in the municipality of Castanhal-PA. The collection and analysis of information should have a quanti-qualitative nature, using bibliographic and documentary research, which will have as a basic premise the exploration of materials, such as the official documents of the administrative offices: programs, projects, activity reports, planning plans action and others, such as laws and decrees. Based on the results of the research, the intention is to strengthen the production of knowledge in public policies and urban planning in the field of leisure and the environment; subsidize future public policies in the Amazon and Brazil; foster scientific initiation with students involved in research and establish exchanges and academic partnerships between Brazilian institutions and researchers.
