Professor José Guilherme Fernandes participates in the Red Interuniversitaria Educación Superior y Pueblos Indígenas y Afrodescendientes de América Latina (Red Esial), composed of several universities in Latin America, with the purpose of promoting exchanges and collaboration of experiences with communities and members of traditional peoples and communities. In addition, the researcher participates in the Interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Studies (CIEA) at the University of Tres de Febrero (UNTREF, Buenos Aires, Argentina), as a visiting post-doctoral researcher.

Activity description:

The NavegaAmazonConnect project aims to study, propose, implement and evaluate new routing solutions and content adaptation / network resources for IEEE 802.11p (vehicular) and IEEE 802.11b / n / IEEE 802.15.1 (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) networks ) supporting the Delay and Disconnection Tolerant Networks (DTN) and Quality of Experience (QoE) approach. International cooperation project with the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), University of Coimbra (UC), University of Bern (UBern) and University of Lancaster (ULanc).

Activity description:

Professor Marcos Seruffo was part of the project The Interdisciplinary Matrix of Theories: understanding the impact of innovative technologies on arts, engineering and communication students, from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, which aimed to bring together national and international research groups, from different areas of knowledge, in an interdisciplinary and collaborative effort, to explore more innovative points of view to analyze the impact of innovative technologies on learning practices. For this, a conceptual research was developed, in order to explore an interdisciplinary matrix of theories.

Activity description:

Professor Sylvia Trusen participates in the Unesco Chair of Reading, at PUC-Rio, a center specialized and active in studies aimed at generating and disseminating knowledge about reading. Organized in an interdisciplinary way and involving researchers from different institutions, it promotes varied activities, such as workshops, courses, publications, in addition to elaborating and making available a database on the subject. Its performance, thanks to the articulation of research at national and international level, essentially aims at the development of actions aimed at promoting reading.

Activity description:

Professor João Malheiro is part of the Education Observatory Program (OBEDUC), a partnership between CAPES, INEP and Secadi, with the objective of promoting studies and research in education, using the available infrastructure of Higher Education Institutions - HEI and the databases existing in INEP. The program aims, mainly, to provide the articulation between graduate courses, undergraduate courses and schools of basic education and to stimulate academic production and the formation of post-graduate resources, at the Master and Doctorate level.

Professor Isis Abel Bezerra, since her post-doctoral training, has participated in joint research activities at the Biotechnology Center of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (CBiot / UFRGS), which aims to train human resources in biotechnology, with the integration between public and private entities in order to contribute to the development of research.
